A new podcast for the Christmas industry launches on 3 February.

If you work in the Christmas space — retail, decorating, installing, supplying or wholesaling — something new is about to land that’s been a long time coming.

This podcast is about the business side of Christmas.
Not just the products and the sparkle, but the planning, the selling, the customers and the decisions that shape what your season actually looks like.

The Christmas industry is creative, emotional and full of opportunity. It’s also one of the most unique trading environments there is. Your selling window is tight, your cash flow matters, and one good or bad season can make a big difference to the year ahead.

This show exists to help Christmas businesses make more of those opportunities.

We’ll be talking about how to attract the right customers, how to turn one-off buyers into repeat clients, and how to build a business that doesn’t feel like it starts from scratch every year. Customer experience will sit right at the centre of every conversation, because in Christmas, how people feel when they buy from you is just as important as what they buy.

Some episodes will be solo, sharing what I’ve learned from 17 years running a seasonal Christmas retail business, along with the work I now do with retailers, decorators and installers across different markets.

Other episodes will bring in people from inside the industry — business owners, creatives, wholesalers and suppliers — talking honestly about what’s working, what’s changed and how they’re growing.

You’ll hear about things like how to sell earlier without killing the magic, how to keep customers engaged during the quieter months, how to use your database properly, and how to create experiences that lead to upgrades, referrals and return bookings.

This isn’t about trends for the sake of trends.
It’s about building a Christmas business that’s more stable, more profitable and far easier to run.
